It is\u00a0grueling\u00a0as hell and has tested every last bit of strength I had left in me.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"s1\">This year I took on the craziest of all courses in Killington, VT.\u00a0 The course takes you directly up the black diamond ski slope and up higher then you think your legs can take you. \u00a0When you reach the top you dive into the lake, which is cold as HELL, in order to get to the other side to continue the run, you would think that would be doable but there are actual obstacles IN the lake you have to\u00a0traverse\u00a0over and under.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"s1\">Once on the other side the race really starts\u2026.every half mile or so of the roughest, moutainest terrain you will hit major obstacles that will test your strength both physically and mentally. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-75\" src=\"http:\/\/runforrob.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Spartan-Sep-2012.jpg\" alt=\"Spartan - Sep 2012\" width=\"960\" height=\"638\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"s1\">Dragging your body up a rocky, mud mountain, under barbed wire, while being pelted with a fire hose is one of the many obstacles.<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.obstacleninja.com\/images\/articles\/spartan-beast\/spartan-race-killington-death-march.jpg\" alt=\"How to Prepare for a Spartan Beast?\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"s1\">The killer of this course is a portion of the race aptly called &#8220;The Death March&#8221;.\u00a0 It is exactly how described.
